Frequently Asked Questions

  • Because our percussion accessories are hand-made in small batches, they are typically non-returnable. However, in some instances we may be able to assist you if something isn’t right. Contact us with any questions, and for approval for a return. You must receive approval before returning any item, or you may not receive a refund. Once you’ve received approval for a return, the following steps need to be followed:

    1. Item must be returned in the same condition it was sent to you, i.e. no damage.

    2. Item must be packed in the same manner it was shipped to you, with plenty of padding to avoid damage in shipping.

    3. Item must be insured for the full value.

    • Refunds will not be issued until the item has been received in our shop and inspected for damage.

    • Original shipping and handling fees will not be refunded. Any credit card fees will be subtracted from the refund, as well as a 15% restock fee. If the item has damage that requires repairs, and/or us having to resell it as ‘B’ stock, damage fees beyond the 15% restock fee may be incurred.

    • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

    • We must be contacted about any concerns within 2 weeks of delivery for a possible return to be accepted.

Because our accessories are made from recycled cymbals, handling with care is essential. We make every effort to ensure the safety of the items, but they are not suitable for young children. Stack Ring Percussion and Reverie are not responsible for how our products are used by purchasers.

For all cancelled orders, and/or refunds, credit card/Paypal fees are non-refundable.

For international orders, be advised that we do not offer returns. If you have any questions or concerns, email us at support@reveriedrums.com

  • Many factors determine a cymbal’s durability, but with handmade cymbals and especially mods the chance of cracking is increased when improper technique is used to play the instrument. Therefore there are no returns or guarantees on mods and a very limited warranty. If you’re modified cymbal cracks, reach out to us about a repair.

Original cymbals come with a 1 year, limited warranty, which only covers manufacturing issues. Only cracks running in the direction of the lathing in the body of the cymbal will be considered as possibly due to potential casting or manufacturing flaws. Cracks running from the edge in, or from the bell hole in, or in the body across the grooves is always player abuse.

If a problem arises due to a manufacturing issue, please reach out to us with photos and a video about the issue. We will work to find a solution for you!

  • Yes! We now support international orders directly through our website. Here’s some info to be aware of with international orders:

    • Reverie has no knowledge of, and is not responsible for your country’s Customs requirements and fees. Import duties, taxes and fees are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please factor these into your purchasing decisions.

    • These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges

    • If delivery attempts are made and the package is returned to us for whatever reason outside of a mistake on our part, we will have to charge for the shipment to be sent again.

    • All orders will be shipping UPS International (If you would like it shipped via the postal service, please let us know in the notes section of your order)

    • There are no returns on international orders.

  • Do you have cracked cymbals that are sitting unused in your closet. We can take them off your hands! In exchange for your unused cymbals, we’ll give you store credit. All you have to do is fill out THIS FORM.

Please note that we don’t typically take cymbals with edge cracks / body cracks as well as cymbals with wide chunks missing or blown out bells.

Cymbal series Descriptions

  • The Landmark Series is our flagship line; being dark, warm, and articulate while retaining the characteristically nuanced sounds that hand-made cymbals offer.

  • The Labyrinth Series is designed to be complex and full of character. They typically have taller profiles that offer a bit of a growly tone with a nice “kah” stick definition

  • The Prism Series features shimmery, crystalline-like high frequencies, overtop of rich and deep tones only found in hand-hammered cymbals. This series represents a brighter and more harmonically balanced “vintage cymbal” sound.

  • The Tributary Series represents an exploration into funky, inspiring, and “deep” vintage cymbal sounds. These cymbals are very complex, and are akin to many “old K” cymbals from pre-1977.

  • The re:Creation Series is based on particular cymbal sounds or specific drummer’s cymbals from a time gone by. These series are aimed to be as close to the original as possible, while also allowing room for creativity and inspiration. Past re:Creation projects include the Sound Creation Dark, Session Hats, Mel Lewis’ 20” Zildjian A, Spizzichino, and others.

  • The Redux Series is a take on “tributes”; where Timothy takes inspiration from a specific cymbal or type of sound, and does his own spin on it.
