Reverie is hiring!

We are looking for a full-time, hands-on production associate to join our small and growing team. This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who wants to build real craft skills and grow into a key role within the company, while manufacturing unique musical instruments.
You'll start in the Stack Ring Percussion brand - building, finishing, and inventory work - with the opportunity to learn cymbalmaking directly from Timothy Roberts and our team. Over time, this role has real potential to grow into a shop manager–level position for the Stack Ring brand: someone who can eventually run the day-to-day of the brand almost independently.
This is not a "clock in, clock out" job. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
-
Assemble and finish Stack Ring Percussion products with a high standard of craftsmanship. This will include machine and hand-hammering, and sanding/finishing metal parts.
Track, organize, and manage raw materials and finished inventory
Learn hands-on cymbalmaking techniques (hammering, lathing, finishing)
Keep the shop organized and production running smoothly
Cross-train in other areas of the business - i.e. shipping, videos, cleaning, etc. (as we are a small organization).
-
Someone located in or around Winston Salem / Kernersville NC
Skill working with your hands and strength/endurance
Comfort working with dangerous equipment, tools, metal, and wood
Strong attention to detail
Naturally organized and meticulous
Reliable and self-motivated. Someone who takes ownership of their work
Interest in growing with the company long-term
Good ear for music / while being a musician is not mandatory, having a good ear greatly helps in knowing how the instrument should sound
No cymbalmaking experience required, we'll teach you. What matters more is your work ethic and care for the craft.
-
Competitive hourly wage, based on experience and skill, with room to grow as you take on more responsibility. For an exceptional candidate with relevant experience and/or specialized education, starting pay is negotiable.
-
You'll be working directly with Timothy Roberts and the team building cymbals and percussion instruments by hand, learning a craft that few people ever get to learn from the ground up, with a real path toward growing into a role that shapes the future of the brand.
