This exact set was made by my apprentice, Isaac Brown. He did a phenomenal job and these sound very close to the original Steve Gadd hihat sound! They have 4 rivets installed in the bottom hat.
The re:Creation “Session” is based off the hi hat sound of the great Steve Gadd. These models feature cymbals very close in weight, so you can get different sounds depending on which cymbal is set up as the top hi hat. For the most part, these were designed for the heavier cymbal to be in the top position; as it gives the sound a very solid, musical vibe that can work in just about any genre.
