The re:Creation KRP is inspired by complex, umbrella-shaped cymbals of yesteryear; and more specifically the discontinued “Kerope” line (version 1) from Big Brand Z. They feature wide, low bells that provide a mellow, smoky tone. The profiles are medium tall, with a fair amount of “topography”, or heavy hammer strikes. The cymbals are complex, dark, and full of body. They also represent a redesign of Timothy’s “Labyrinth” series.
