The Roots line was developed in conjunction with the great jazz and funk drummer, Mike Clark. These cymbals are designed to be the quintessential “NYC jazz sound”. The stick holds together and doesn't wash out, and it sits on top of a bed of dark complexity. The profiles are tall and umbrella shaped to produce growly lows and a nice “kah” underneath the stick definition; while maintaining a short crash and good control for riding. These cymbals are phenomenal gigging cymbals and are designed to sit in the mix with other acoustic instruments.
