All commissions include at least one demo video near the end of the manufacturing process for you to sign off on and/or request 1-2 minor tweaks before finalization. The custom-tailored option is a deeper dive into very specific cymbal sounds (ie. from records, videos, etc.). With this option there will be a couple videos back and forth, and Timothy will do as much research as required to capture a sound that’s inspired by the reference (since a perfect “clone” is never possible). Before the cymbal is shipped a final demo will be filmed and sent for you to sign off on.
IMPORTANT* If you desire additional work after the cymbal has already been tweaked; there will be an additional charge of $50 to cover that work. If you decide you don’t want the cymbal that Timothy creates for you, we can discuss swapping it for another cymbal or starting over. However, 30% of the cost of the commission is non-refundable. The remaining 70% can be used as credit or be refunded, minus any processing fees.
The average lead time on a cymbal commission is typically around 12 weeks depending on Timothy’s work load. If the lead time is longer we will let you know!
