The 14” crunch ring features a hand-hammered, stainless steel donuts riveted with cymbal and tambourine jingles. It creates a trashy, lo-fi sound and it doesn’t fully choke the sound of the instrument that it’s on. The 14” version fits snugly on a 14” snare drum and dampens the overtones while adding a metallic jingle to the sound when you play a rimshot. It also sounds great on a floor tom and can be used on a cymbal or stack as well.
